Town of Mazomanie Permits All
building in the Town (additions, outbuildings, new
construction, rezoning, driveways, etc.) must be
approved by the Land Plan Commission, the Town Board and
Dane County Zoning. Contact the Town Clerk for
information regarding how to proceed with your project.
Approval times vary. Start early so you have time
to complete the process before you begin construction.

If your property is within the Lower Wisconsin State
Riverway, you will also need a permit from the Lower
Wisconsin State Riverway Board for changes to your
property such as construction, approved paint colors,
timber harvest, or other vegetation removal.
