The Town is working on an update to its Comprehensive Plan.  The Comprehensive Plan is the Town’s long-range guide its physical growth and preservation.  It covers a range of topics including future land use, farmland preservation, natural resources, transportation, economic development, and housing.  Under Wisconsin law, the Town must update its Plan at least once every 10 years; the Plan was last updated in 2014.  The Town has a 3-person working committee advising changes to the Town Plan, and then the Plan will be forwarded to the Plan Commission, Town Board, and eventually County for action.  We expect a draft plan to be ready for public review by late Spring 2024, and welcome public input at any time.  The Town’s public participation plan is located here Town of Mazomanie Comp Plan Public Participation Resolution__11.3.23.
